• My name is Martin Debernitz. I was born and raised in Germany.
• I currently work at a savings and loan bank where I am head of the Finance division, overseeing Accounting, Controlling, Risk Controlling, and Public Relations with 11 employees.

Why I Am Looking for a job in China

• I currently live in Germany with my Chinese wife.
• We are both permanently employed and earn good salaries.
• However, there are many aspects of life in Germany that bother us: unfriendliness of the people, increasing racism, political uncertainty and rising taxes and social contributions.
• Compared to the increasingly individualistic lifestyle and the declining work ethic in Germany, our family identifies much more strongly with the Chinese way of life and the work culture in China, shaped by diligence, respect and performance orientation.
• We also very much wish to pass on those Chinese values to our child.
• Therefore, we have decided to live in China in the future. This is why I am currently actively seeking a professional opportunity in China.
